New In: Beauty Haul #2
Hello...I'm back.
I've only just managed to write another blog post, I've just had a massive lack of motivation to write anything but I went shopping recently and picked up some new bits and thought I'd document them! I've already tried some of these out so I can give some first impressions which I always like to see as well so here we go!
I wanted to get a new serum and try one out from the drugstore. I found this one from Botanics, I've used some products from them before and they are so affordable and treat my skin really nice. This one is Hydration Burst Light Serum with soothing Clay Sage. It says its for dehydrated and sensitive skin, this has worked really nicely on my skin it keeps my skin hydrated and smooth. Its also super glowy which is good for days when I'm not wearing makeup.
Next up I wanted to find a primer, I've used the Loreal Lumi Magique before and I loved it but I wanted to find another one to see if there was any other good ones. I found this one in Kiko and it was in the sale which is always good. Its the City Filter Sunscreen Primer, its super moisturising and its the yellow colour which is supposed to brighten the skin, I love this on no makeup days and wearing it under my makeup as its really good at moisturising my skin and is a perfect base for makeup.
This is a repurchase of my favourite concealer, its the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer. I think this is my 3rd tube of this and I still love it! Its just perfect for under the eyes and highlights them perfectly with medium coverage and doesn't feel cakey at all.
I needed a new mascara and I've heard good things about all the Loreal ones, since using the false lash sculpt I thought I'd try some of the other ones out. I've got the Volume Million So Couture and so far I"m in love. It offers the flutter lash effect which I love, I prefer my lashes lengthened and separated and this does it all! The wand isn't too big either which is always a struggle when doing the bottom lashes but its the perfect size.
I'd heard about the Stila Magnificent Metals Foil finish ages ago but when looking around I found this one and just loved the colour! But then you buy it you can't ever swatch them so didn't know what it was going to be like but when I got home...oh my god! They are super pigmented and glittery, they are perfect for special occasions and you can really build it up to make it look super intense. I got the colour Metallic Lavender and I would say it looks lighter in the pan than on the lid but it still looks amazing on the lids!
These last two were given me to from a friend and they are the Rimmel lipsticks. I already own one and I love them they are super pigmented and moisturising. These two are in 250 Birthday Suit and 32. They are both different nudes but I love them and go perfect with any look.
Have a wonderful day :)
Love Char x
